The R6501AQ is a complete, high performance 8-bit NMOS-3 microcomputer on a single chip and is compatible with all members of the R6500 family. The R6501AQ consists of an enhanced 6502 CPU, an internal clock oscillator, 192bytes of random access memory, and versatile interface circuitry.Rockwell supports development of the R6501AQ with the low cost emulator development system and the R6500 family of personality modules.
